Blisstopia Retreats
have evolved over the past 20 years. Evolution is about providing support and healing with others, not to others. The belief is that WE, not I can, create an environment where safety, security, knowledge, caring, nurturing, and space for healing to occur. When there is we, the energy moves more freely. Everyone desires a place and space to feel accepted, tended to, and appreciated for who they are for BLISS to come through the womb of our souls. This is where you will find your Bliss through Yoga asanas, meditation, passionate teachers and teachings, workshops, meditation, and energy work. So, we encourage you to join us, our retreat space is only 35 minutes from the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
Lana Anderson Royce started her training in health & wellness over 30 years ago.
She became certified as a yoga teacher shortly after, teaching Ashtanga, Hatha, and prenatal yoga.
· She is certified as a yoga teacher with The Yoga Institute having trained with Lex Gillian and Stan Hafner, who was a student of P. Jois.
· She is also a certified prenatal yoga teacher, her training was completed with Robin Sale of Whole-birth Yoga.
· She also completed an advanced yoga teacher training with Frog Lotus Yoga in Mass.
· She is registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT500 teacher and teaches other teachers.
· She is also a certified doula since 2002 and helped support over 400 new mamas and babies in the world. Through her connections with new mothers, she supported them in developing their own power within.
· She earned her Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from St. Mary’s University – Undergrad at NDSU and University of Minnesota.
· She practiced as a psychotherapist for over 30 years and weaves her experience and wisdom into her current offerings.

· She also studied and practiced Tae Kwon Do for over 13 years and is a Master Level Instructor with a 4th Degree Black Belt.
She studied at Top Tae Kwon Do in Champlin, MN
In her previous life, she worked in Human Resources and Employee Assistance for 22 years.
From 2015 to 2021 Lana and her husband owned and operated 3 TITLE Boxing Clubs and Yoga by Blisstopia yoga studio in Minnesota.
She was also on the Board of Directors for No Time for Poverty to build and maintain a medical clinic in Haiti and a Grassroots Co-op.
She was also on the Board of Directors for Freedom Healthcare in Arizona.

Before meeting Mark, Lana raised her 2 boys as a single mom, who are now off on their own. Lana’s husband, Mark Royce, and she currently own and operate Blisstopia Retreats in Peoria, Arizona.
Mark has dedicated most of his adult life to studying, training, and teaching martial arts. He has earned black belts in sports karate, Tae Kwon Do, Kung fu, & MMA.
With more than 35 years as a martial arts instructor. He has focused on MMA training & teaching over the past 16 years and also close combat martial arts. Mark has trained more than 10,000 students. He has an extensive knowledge in fighting training & in health/wellness, nutrition, & fitness.
His passion for martial arts developed in high school after a personal attack/assault left him with permanent injuries, Mark began training in multiple styles of martial arts.
Mark holds a BS in Business Management. An entrepreneur who has started several successful businesses over the past 30 + years. Including a security company, janitorial service company, travel business, nutritional supplements, multiple martial arts schools, gyms, fitness centers, and more.

His approach to wellness & fitness emphasizes age-appropriate programming with a specific focus given to cardiovascular and strength training in combination with balance and flexibility training with a fighter's mentality. He establishes long-term client interactions with the goal of integrating nutrition, exercise, and optimal wellness into the demands of daily life.
Mark and his partner in life Lana have operated fitness centers, & a special boutique yoga studio together from 2015 to 2022
After many years of training & competing in the fighting arts (Boxing, Kickboxing & MMA), he has modified his training to include self-defense training, BJJ, yoga, breathwork, cold plunge, cellular health, and the healing arts.
Mark offers training in self-defense, boxing, kick boxing, MMA, weapons & small group classes at all retreats offered and private lessons.
Mark also offers 1 to 1 training in the following:

* Repairing and improving gut health
* Full analysis of cellular health
